9 Tips to Make Your E-commerce Business Wildly Successful

9 Tips to Make Your E-commerce Business Wildly Successful

1.  Dont rush the launch.

One of the biggest mistakes unsuccessful ecommerce entrepreneurs make is forcing or rushing the launch of a website. You only get one shot at launching your website and you cant mess this up. While its okay to purchase your domain name and throw up some sort of Coming Soon page, you should avoid the big reveal until youve laid some substantial ground work (SEO, content marketing, social media, paid advertising, etc.).

2.  Put the focus on the user.

Its no secret that the biggest shortcoming of ecommerce businesses is the inability to let their customers touch, feel, smell, and see (firsthand) products before making a decision. While theres currently no solution for solving this problem, you can compensate for this deficiency in other areas of the business. Some of the best tips include offering appropriate pricing, giving free shipping and making the checkout process easy with simplified shopping carts.

3. Test absolutely everything.

Before, during and after you launch any ecommerce business, you should invest in testing and analytics. Think like the customer and figure out whats working, whats not, and the why behind those answers. Heres a look at some of the best A/B testing tools.

4. Work closely with social.

Any ecommerce entrepreneur that tells you he outsources social media or delegates it to other team members is crazy. Social media is the heartbeat of your business, as it gives you an uninterrupted glance into the lives of your customers. While its perfectly fine to have a social-media manager, its pertinent that youre involved with it, too.

5. Incorporate social elements.

Going along with the previous tip, its a great idea to include social elements on your ecommerce sites. Things like product reviews and testimonials follow buttons and even social login options all help the conversion funnel.

6. Go mobile.

Bill Siwicki of Internet Retailer references Goldman Sachs, saying, Tablets will play an increasingly important role as worldwide consumer spending via mobile jumps from $204 billion in 2014 to $626 billion in 2018... If you arent building ecommerce businesses with mobile in mind, you may be irrelevant in three to five years.

7. Stay on top of SEO.

As the ecommerce economy experiences rapid growth, more and more businesses will be entering this increasingly crowded space. That means it will be more important than ever to stay on top of SEO in order to stand out from the competition. Connecting with a skilled SEO will help you stay competitive in the long run.

10 Best Exercises for Six Pack Abs

While everyone knows about classic ab workouts like crunches and sit-ups, very few people realize that there are other exercises that can give them a six pack. By diversifying ab routines, its a lot easier to make gains in the gym. Switching things up can help reduce the chances for physical injury and better target different muscle groups.

Below are the 10 best exercises for six pack abs, each one helps to sculpt muscles with its own unique set of movements. Anyone looking to take their workout to the next level should try to incorporate these routines into their gym sessions.

Bicycles are an excellent workout for increasing core strength and carving abs. Lie on the ground and place your hands behind your head. After getting into position raise your right leg, bending your knee towards your face. At the same time begin to move your body forward so that your left elbow, and whole upper body, will turn and allow you to touch your right knee. Alternate both your knees and elbows with every rep, allowing both halves of your body to experience this exercise. For maximum effect do between 20 and 30 reps per set.

Planks are simple to learn, but difficult to master. They are also great for building a strong core and chiseled abs. To do a plank get into the standard pushup position. Keep your elbows under your shoulders and bent at 90 degrees. Place your body weight on your forearms. Keep your torso suspended in the air and held in a straight line for as long as you can. Each set should ideally be about two to three minutes, but many inexperienced plankers will not be able to hold the position for that long.

Pullups are a classic exercise that can help to build a six pack. To do them simply find a pull-up bar and grip it a little bit wider than your shoulder width. Keep your shoulder blades back, bend your legs behind you, and flex your core. Then pull yourself up until your collarbone is at the same height as the bar. Afterwards lower yourself down and pull yourself up again. Try to do three sets until failure.

Plate twists are a great way to get definition. To do them sit on a floor and keep your legs in front of you and grab a small weight plate. Then cross your knees and keep your ankles elevated off of the floor. Afterwards rotate your torso from one side of your body to the other twisting so that your body can fully stretch. Use slow and deliberate motions in order to prevent injury and do between 12 and 15 reps per set.

The medicine ball toss uses explosive motions to help strengthen the core. While it is best to have a partner for this activity it isnt necessary. To do the exercise squat down and hold the ball between your legs. Then rise up while lifting the ball as high as you can above your head and toss it behind you to your partner. If you dont have a partner do the exercise against a wall so that it is easy to retrieve your medicine ball. Do this exercise for as many reps as you can.

Like planks, side bridges are a simple workout that can be difficult to master. Lie on your side and elevate your body using your feet and forearms. Hold this position until failure and then repeat it with the other side of your body. You should try and make each rep last for roughly one minute, although less experienced individuals may only be able to support themselves for a few seconds.

Jack knives are great for getting a thorough ab workout. To do them lie on the ground and extend your arms behind your head. Then slowly bring your arms and legs up so that they meet each other at a 45-degree angle. Then slowly lower your body back down to the starting position and begin the motion again. Try and do between 20 and 30 reps per set.

Doing stomach vacuums is a great way to really work your ab muscles and fortify your core. This exercise is also incredibly simple and can be done almost anywhere. To do the Stomach Vacuum simply stand straight up and put your hands on your waist. Then breath out. After that expand your chest as much as possible and then bring your stomach in as far as you can then hold this position. Try and hold each rep for anywhere between 30 seconds and a minute depending on your skill level.

Wind sprints are an exercise that many people have probably heard of, but might not know a lot about. To successfully do wind sprints hang from a pullup bar and keep your arms and legs extended. Then raise one knee as high as possible. After that lower your knee while raising the other. Repeat this process for the rest of your set. If you are doing wind sprints correctly, you should be moving your legs as if you were actually running.

Using an ab roller can really help to improve your six pack. The device is specifically designed to sculpt your core and strengthen your muscles. To use it keep your hands on the unit and your knees on the floor. Slowly roll forward and stretch your body as far and as straight as you possibly can. Inhale as you do so. Once you are fully extended hold the position for a few seconds and then begin to retract it. When you get back to the starting point repeat the process. Try and do at least 25 reps per set.

These are 10 of the best exercises for six pack abs. Each one can help to build definition and carve out visible muscle. While you dont have to do all of the exercises, it is a good idea to incorporate as many as you feel comfortable with.

SECRETS on HOW to become RICH - READ!

1. Stop focusing on money.
While it sounds counter intuitive, maintaining a laser-like focus on how much you make distracts you from doing the things that truly contribute to building and growing wealth.
So shift your perspective. See money not as the primary goal but as a byproduct of doing the right things.
2. Start tracking how many people you help, if only in a small way.
The most successful people I know--both financially and in other ways--are shockingly helpful. They're incredibly good at understanding other people and helping them achieve their goals. They know their success is ultimately based on the success of the people around them.
So they work hard to make other people successful: their employees, their customers, their vendors and suppliers...because they know if they can do that then their own success will surely follow.
And they will have built a business--or a career--they can be truly proud of.

3. Stop thinking about money and start thinking about service.
When you only have a few customers and your goal is to make a lot of money, you need to find ways to squeeze every last dollar out of every transaction.
But when you find a way to serve a million people, many other benefits follow. Word of mouth is hugely magnified. The feedback you receive is exponentially greater--and so are your opportunities to improve your products and services. You get to hire more employees and benefit from their experience, their skills, and their overall awesomeness.
And in time, your business becomes something you never dreamed of--because your customers and your employees have taken you to places you couldn't even imagine.
Serve a million people--and serve them really well--and the money will follow.
4. See making money as a way to make more things.
Generally speaking, there are two types of people. One makes things because they want to make money; the more things they make, the more money they make. What they make doesn't really matter that much to them--they'll make anything as long as it pays.
The other wants to make money because it allows them to make more things. They want to improve their product. They want to extend their line. They want to write another book, record another song, produce another movie. They love what they make and they see making money as a way to do even more of what they love. They dream of building a company that makes the best things possible...and making money is the way to fuel that dream and build that company they love.
While it is certainly possible to find that one product that everyone wants and grow rich by selling that product...most successful businesses evolve and grow and, as they make money, reinvest that money in a relentless pursuit of excellence.
Like Walt Disney said, "We don't make movies to make money, we make money to make more movies."
5. Find your happiness in the success of others.
Great business teams win because their most talented members are willing to sacrifice to make others happy. Great teams are made up of employees who help each other, know their roles, set aside personal goals, and value team success over everything else.
Where does that attitude come from? You. Almost every truly successful entrepreneur feels a major chunk of his or her happiness comes from enjoying the success of employees and customers.
Do you?
6. Cultivate dignity and respect.
Providing employees with higher pay, better benefits, and greater opportunities is certainly important. But no level of pay and benefits can overcome damage to self-esteem and self-worth.
The most important thing truly successful entrepreneurs provide employees, customers, vendors--everyone they meet--is dignity.
And so should you, because when you do, everything else follows.
7. Do one thing better...
Pick one thing you're already better at than most people. Just. One. Thing. Become maniacally focused at doing that one thing. Work. Train. Learn. Practice. Evaluate. Refine. Be ruthlessly self-critical, not in a masochistic way but to ensure you continue to work to improve every aspect of that one thing.
Financially successful people do at least one thing better than just about everyone around them. (Of course it helps if you pick something to be great at that the world also values--and will pay for.)
Excellence is its own reward, but excellence also commands higher pay--and greater respect, greater feelings of self-worth, greater fulfillment, a greater sense of achievement...all of which make you rich in non-monetary terms.
8. Then list the best people at that one thing...
How did you choose them? How did you determine who was the best? How did you measure their success?
Use those criteria to track your own progress towards becoming the best at what you choose.
If you're a developer, it could be the number of people who use your software. If you're a leader, it could be the number of people you train and mentor to reach their goals. If you're an online retailer, it could be conversion rate or sales per transaction or on-time shipping....
Don't just admire successful people. Take a close look at what makes them successful. Then use those criteria to help create your own measures of success. And then...
9. Then do more of what you do best.
Another benefit of building a team is that it allows you to do a lot more of what you do best.
Say you're great at selling. Why perform admin tasks when your time is better spent with customers? Or maybe you're great at creating awesome processes. Why spend time creating social-media marketing campaigns when you could be streamlining your distribution channel?
Every person has something they do that makes the biggest difference on their personal bottom lines. The most successful people find ways to do a lot more of that...and a lot less of everything else.
10. Relentlessly track your progress.
We tend to become what we measure, so track your progress at least once a week against your key measures.
Maybe you'll measure how many people you help. Maybe you'll measure how many customers you serve. Maybe you'll check off the key steps on your journey to becoming the world's best at the thing you chose.
More likely, you'll measure a combination of these, and more.
11. Build routines that ensure your success.
Never forget that achieving a goal is based on creating routines. Say you want to write a 300-page book. That's your goal. Your system to achieve that goal could be to write four pages a day--that's your routine.
Thinking about your goal won't get you to a finished manuscript, but sticking faithfully to your routine will.
Or say you want to land 50 new customers. That's your goal; your routine is to contact a certain number of leads per day, check in with a certain number of current customers, network with a certain number of potential partners...your routine is what you will do, without fail, that will allow you to achieve your goal. Follow that routine and faithfully meet your deadlines and if your plan is great, you will land your new customers.
Wishing and hoping won't get you there. Sticking to your routine will, especially when you ruthlessly measure your progress, fix what doesn't work, and improve and repeat what does work. Success is almost guaranteed when you refine and revise and adapt and work hard every day to be better than you were yesterday.
And probably without even noticing, you'll also be rich--and more importantly, a lot happier, because you'll like how you got there.

Why Egyptians made mummies?

Egyptians believed that a person's soul had many parts, and that all people and the parts of their souls were sculpted from clay by the ram-headed god named Khnum. One of these parts was called the ka. The ka was a person's double, sort of an invisible twin, which supposedly lived in the body until death. It was necessary to prevent the dead body from decaying because the ka still needed it!

Sometimes a statue that resembled the deceased would be placed in the tomb with the mummy. These ka statues were a back-up, to make sure the ka had a body to belong to, just in case something should happen to the mummy. In addition to a recognizable body, the ka also needed food to survive. When Egyptians left food and water at the tomb, they were leaving it for the ka.

Another part of the soul was called the ba. The ba was usually shown as a bird with a human head that looked like that of the dead person. Unlike the ka, which stayed in the tomb with the mummy, the ba was able to leave. It could fly out of the tomb, magically passing through walls of solid rock. But it always returned to the mummy at night. Like the ka, it could only live forever if it was able to find and recognize the body to which it belonged. And this wouldn't be possible if the body decomposed! This is why the Egyptians wanted to preserve the dead in as life-like a state as possible. Mummification was the guarantee of eternal life.

What isn't known is whether the Egyptians practiced mummification to support their religion, OR if they shaped their religious beliefs to go along with their desire for fancy burials, which relied on mummification.

How Egyptians made mummies:

Early attempts at mummification were not successful because the coffin, bandages, and resin locked the moisture inside the corpse, making it rot from within. But making mummies turned out to be not so difficult after all-- the Egyptians improved on nature by artificially drying the bodies before sealing with resin.
The entire process of mummification took 70 days to complete. Several well-respected embalmers conducted the task in a special enclosure called a per nefer. The chief embalmer was known as the hery seshta. He wore a jackal mask to represent Anubis, the god of mummification. Assistants called wetyw bandaged the body and carried out other tasks of the embalming process.
After being delivered to the per nefer, the deceased was placed upon a slanted table. The first task that needed to be done was to remove the soft, moist body parts that would cause decay. As these parts were removed, blood and other bodily fluids trickled out and flowed down the table into a collecting bowl.

During the Old and Middle Kingdoms, the brain was left in the head, but starting in the New Kingdom it was removed. The bone that separates the nasal cavity from the brain cavity was broken open by ramming a sharp instrument up the nose. Then, a long hook was used to stir up the brain until it was liquefied. By turning the body face down, the brain would spill out the nostrils. The Egyptians were so rough on the brain because they didn't realize its importance. They thought its purpose was just to produce snot!

Next, some of the major organs were removed. One of the embalmers would use a blade made of sharpened stone or obsidian to make an incision in the left side of the abdomen. Although this step was entirely necessary to remove the organs, they didn't like it because it was considered sinful to "injure" a corpse. In mock ceremony, the other embalmers present would curse and throw stones at the man who made the cut. They didn't really try to hurt him, it was all just part of the ceremony.

The stomach, intestines, liver, and lungs were removed and preserved by drying them in a special salt called natron. Natron is chemically similar to a mixture of table salt and baking soda. Originally dissolved in the ground water, it is found in clumps by oases where it gets left behind when water evaporates.

After drying, the organs would be put in a four-chambered box. This box was stored in the tomb with the mummy. The Egyptians believed that all body parts would be magically reunited in the afterlife and the body would become whole again, just like the god Osiris. According to Egyptian mythology, the god Osiris was murdered by his jealous brother Set and hacked into pieces. The goddess Isis reassembled the pieces and Osiris was magically restored, and went on to become the god of the afterlife.

In later times, it became customary to put each organ into a separate container called a canopic jar. During the Middle Kingdom, the stoppers of the jars were carved to resemble the face of the dead person. Later still, during the New Kingdom, the stoppers of canopic jars were shaped like the heads of the four sons of the god Horus. Each son protected the organ placed inside his respective jar.

Duamutef, who had the head of a jackal, guarded the jar that contained the stomach. Qebehsenuf, who had the head of a falcon, watched over the intestines. Hapi, the baboon-headed son of Horus, protected the lungs, while human-headed Imseti was in charge of protecting the liver.

Canopic jars were usually stored in a four-chambered chest that was later placed in the tomb with the mummy. By 1000 BC, the preserved organs were wrapped in linen and placed back in the mummy's body, but the empty canopic jars were still placed in the tomb.

After the organs were removed, the body was washed with wine and rubbed with spices. The alcohol in the wine acted as an antiseptic, helping to kill bacteria. The corpse was then covered with natron, where it sat for 40 days to dry out. Once dried, the skin was shrunken and leathery. The mummy was cleaned again and rubbed with sacred oils to soften the skin.

In one Egyptian myth, the god Horus had his eye miraculously restored after losing it in a battle with the evil god Set. The eye of Horus, known as a wedjat, is associated with healing and protection. A wax or bronze plate with a wedjat carved into it was placed over the embalming incision to magically heal the mummy in the afterlife.

Once the body was fully dried and cleaned, it was adorned with jewelry. Then it was covered in linen shrouds and bound with linen strips. Small magical amulets were inserted between the layers of the bandages to protect the mummy's spirit on its way to the afterlife. As each layer was added, it was coated with resin to hold the wrappings together with a waterproof seal.

some funerary amulets: ankh (symbolizes life); djed (for strength
and stability); tet (protects the limbs); and a scarab (symbolizes rebirth)

WORLD TRENDS CENTERMeet Evgeniy Mikhailovich Bogachev. He enjoys automobiles, boat adventures, money, and aggravated identity theft. Hes also wanted by the FBI with a bounty on his head of $3 million, the highest ever for a cybercriminal. Seriously, this dude is straight out of an Ian Fleming novel.

The New York Times just profiled the 33-year-old Russian hacker who lives in Anapa, a run-down resort town on the Black Sea in southern Russia. There, according to the FBIs Most Wanted page on Bogachev, the Dr. Evil lookalike is known to enjoy boating and may travel to locations along the Black Sea in his boat. When hes not boating, Bogachev is reportedly taking control of as many as one million computers around the world and enabling Russian intelligence agencies to spy on their contents. According to the FBI, hes also been able to steal hundreds of millions of dollars from unsuspecting bank accounts, some of which are based in the United States.

Like any good James Bond villain, Bogachev also loves his cars. The Timesreports that he keeps a collection of luxury cars, though he seems to favor driving his Jeep Grand Cherokee. The paper also reports that, At one point, he owned two villas in France and kept a fleet of cars parked around Europe so he would never have to rent a vehicle while on vacation. He apparently has three different Russian passports under different names to help him scoot across borders. When hes not on holiday, the feds say that Bogchev stays busy creating world-crushing malware like the program GameOver ZeuS, which was able to bypass bank security measures for years without detection.
This is all well and good, except theres no obvious way for American authorities to arrest Bogachev. Russia wont let US authorities snatch him up in the resort town where he lives, since the two countries dont have an extradition treaty, and the Putin administration says it wont arrest him unless they catch him committing crimes in Russia. So, for now, Bogachev gets to live his weird Bond villain lifestyle and reportedly help the Russian government spy on an unknown number of people around the world. Meanwhile, in America, we get to enjoy the second Cold War which isnt all that different from the first one.

GOOGLE CHROME has been hacked? READ!

Google Chrome web browser extensions are under attack by hackers.
In the last week, cybercriminals have hijacked two popular web browser extensions in the Chrome Web Store.
Hackers targeted the German developer team behind Copyfish, a successful OCR extension, and modified it with ad-injection capabilities to distribute spam to its users.
And now, another hugely-successful Chrome Web Store developer has been hijacked by unknown attackers.

Chris Pederick the creator of a popular Chrome extension called Web Developer has revealed hackers phished the Google account linked to his app, updated Web Developer, and pushed the hijacked app out to its 1,044,000 users.
This is exactly the same technique used to spread malware with the Copyfish extension.

The Firefox version of both the web browser extensions remain unaffected.

Cybercriminals have targeted the developers Google accounts and pushed-out the update to the web extension laced with malware from the Chrome Web Store.
According to the Chris Pederick, the malicious software incorporated into his app injected advertisements on webpages on users computer.
The hackers are believed to have made a sizeable commission from these advertisements.

Worse still, the Chrome plugin has access to almost everything that takes place within users web browser enabling the malware-ridden software to read website content, intercept traffic, record keystrokes, and more.
The malicious version of Web Developer was only live on the Chrome Web Store for six hours before it was pulled.
Chris Pederick has since fixed the extension and pushed-out an update to users.
Web Developer users are urged to update their Chrome extension to version 0.5 as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, the team behind Copyfish have cautioned users, "So far, the update looks like standard adware hack, but, as we still have no control over Copyfish, the thieves might update the extension another time until we get it back.
"We can not even disable it as it is no longer in our developer account."
Google is believed to be working with the developers to provide them access to their own Chrome browser extension.
